Youth Experience Sponsorship

Impact

Impact

The reach is the story.

Youth Experience Sponsorship clears the cost between a motivated kid and the thing they chose. Here’s what that looks like: real kids, real experiences, real yeses.

So far, more than 185 kids have heard “yes” and done the thing they chose. More than 330 experiences completed. More than 80 partner programs, across more than 36 kinds of experience.

Youth Experiences

What we measure, and what we don’t

Youth Experience Sponsorship tracks what it can show honestly: kids served, experiences completed, partners vetted, the range of program types.

We don’t claim to know which experience will change which kid’s life. What we do is take the cost out of the way and let the kid, the family, and the partner do the rest.

Quincy Sailing Experience

I really loved the way we are able to help set the sails with the crew and help steer. I wanted to catch a halibut for my mom but I wasn’t that lucky. The best part is on the last day with the friends I made on the boat we got to have lots of ice cream and give a tour of the Seaward to our families. I got to show all I learned. I want to go again next summer.”

We use our fingertips to make the sound Wa-Ter-Mel-On (four taps) and you also get to do this thing called mango. Man-go!

Aidan’s Baseball Experience in the Dominican Republic.

“I have been so overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation since this whole trip began but especially since Aidan’s return. It’s hard to explain what he was like when he hopped into my car after the long flight home. He wasn’t “different” exactly but the most “him” I have ever seen.
